ID 4190- The Viceroy

My final project of my college career was to design a restaurant that would act as a bistro in the morning to mid afternoon, a fine dining space in the afternoon and evening, and then a club in the late evening. Meant to be high end, this space would be occupied by tech-workers, innovators, and designers alike.

With this space, I took inspiration for the avant garde art movement, specifically Bluebird by Anatole Krasnyansky. Utilizing the warm, geometric hues, I created Viceroy. Named after the monarch butterfly look-alike, this restaurant is nothing like it seems because sometimes what you see isn't what you get. From the exterior facade, it is pure black brick except for the two metallic purple doors and the matching stained glass windows of the Viceroy butterfly. The inside in bursting with color and life. With unique flooring and wall details maxing with eccentric furniture, this space is meant to be a wow factor.
