ID 3190- NKBA Kitchen/Bath Design

For this project, we used a floorplan from the NKBA and their official student competition. Following the rules they gave, my task was redesign the kitchen and master suite for a family of four outside of Boston, Massachusetts. (Line work done in AutoCAD, perspectives done in Revit)

For this space, I was trying to go for a modern look in the kitchen matte black fixtures, warm backsplash tiles, and a contrasting cabinet color. Additionally, this kitchen was stacked with high end appliances and hardware. For the primary bedroom and bathroom, I wanted dark and moody in contrast with light and flowy. The bedroom utilized deep blues and dark end tables. The bathroom had a focus on light walls and counters with the darkness being seen through the fixtures and accent chair.
